We are very lucky in this country to have many wonderful independent galleries all supporting and promoting our artists. Giles currently exhibits in a a number of these throughout the South and South West. Running an independent commercial art gallery is a true labour of love. It takes passion, patience and a great eye. Art is all about taste and finding the balance between what looks good and what sells is a real art in itself.
A wonderful example of this passion in action can be found in the recently launched Tidal Gallery in Kingsbridge, Devon. Every element of the gallery has been carefully considered. Opened early in 2018, founder Anna Ventura is an artist and designer who has used her astute understanding to curate a gallery full of sensitively selected and beautifully presented work featuring artists from all around the region, including a number of Giles’ pieces.
