‘The Catch’ is a busy playful painting featuring tiny silver sprats. Magnified to a supernatural size these beautiful little fish dance higgledy-piggledy across the canvas. Set against a stark background of deep turquoise, evocative of the rich colours of the Devon sea, the shining silvers and greys sing in contrast.
Created using Giles’ trademark technique of layered paints – acrylics and oils – and then supplemented by dynamic textures, varnishes and metallics, The Catch is a hugely popular image that will bring fun and life to any home.
The Catch is strictly limited to an edition of just 150, signed and numbered by Giles. It is available both framed and unframed.
